Wicklow

STAYING IN TINAHELY CO. WICKLOW

Out bungalow in Westmeath has now been sold to a family who I hope will come to love it as much as I did. Our former neighbour's sheep are minding our pasture.

Until we move to a new location - Wexford this time - we stay in Wicklow among the hills.

Connie has adapted well and with sheep at our doorstep, she has behaved very well.
She's been visited by a trio of Wicklow collies from higher up the hill - a posse who go out to work the the sheep often and drop by like a whirlwind on the way. I think they are used to the house here being empty a lot of the time so got a real shock when our bigger bright-eyed bitch trend up in her red tuxedo.

It was unusually mild for February and there was a week of amazing sunshine. March came in like the proverbial Lion - let's hope it goes out like a lamb. At least the wind had stopped howling by now - the day after Patricks Day.

A few pictures taken - mostly of Connie against the scenery. I should use the "proper" camera to get the hilly vistas as they deserve that over the smart phone handy an all though it be.
